May at the Coffee with Cinnamon Club is dedicated to dreams and dreamwork. Not dream dictionaries. Not symbolic interpretation. Something deeper — using your own dream imagery as a key to understanding yourself, clearing distortions, and finding greater clarity.
Program
Most of us either ignore our dreams or reach for a dream dictionary when something feels significant. This month, we're doing something different. We'll learn to work with dreams as a living psychological tool — through neuroscience, depth psychology, and group practice. By the end of the month, you'll have a personal framework for working with your own dreams, without relying on anyone else's interpretation.
We'll explore sleep from three angles:
The psychology of sleep — how it works, why it matters, and how to build a rhythm that supports you.
The psychology of dreams — how your inner states, experiences, and processes show up in your sleep.
A glimpse into Tibetan dream yoga — an ancient framework that approaches dreaming as a path to awareness.
We'll close with practical exercises to begin working with your own dreams.
We'll watch a film together and learn to read it like a dream — through symbols, emotional states, and inner processes. We'll also practice exercises for working with dream imagery while awake.
A group format in which we explore what the unconscious knows about the world. No mysticism — this method was developed by psychoanalyst Gordon Lawrence in 1982, based on the idea that individual dreams can reflect a shared social reality. Participants follow free associations from one dream to the next, weaving a collective understanding, as if the dreams are speaking to each other.
We close the month together — reviewing what emerged, applying the tools we've built, and working through your dreams as a group.
The results? – The ability to work with your dreams independently — without dream dictionaries or outside interpretation – Better sleep quality and rhythm through consistent practice – A deeper understanding of your inner states, emotional patterns, and recurring themes – More flexible thinking — stronger associative and imaginative capacity – Greater adaptability and ease when navigating change – The experience of being supported by a group doing the inner work
What members are saying
I've been through different periods in my life — no therapy, group therapy, private sessions with multiple specialists at the same time, and of course conversations with friends over a glass of something sparkling. For me, the whole point of something like this is to build solid foundations for myself, remove what isn't working, and bring in tools that make me more joyful and alive. But equally important — a person needs other people. When you see yourself reflected through others, you discover interesting dimensions of yourself you hadn't noticed. That's exactly what exists in this Club — an atmosphere of acceptance, understanding, care, respect, and genuine exchange.
Thank you for a month we lived through together. It both inspired me and turned everything upside down. One of the thoughts I took away — which I actually wrote down separately after re-listening to our first session — was this: the word 'right' in Sanskrit means 'purified of impurities.'
This month was anything but easy — full of experiences and discoveries. For me, the Coffee with Cinnamon Club is a cup of strong black coffee — a powerful tool for finding the patterns in your life that no longer work — and a pinch of cinnamon: the magic that lets you see a situation from a completely different angle. I'm happy, because I can see results. They may look small at first glance, but I'm no longer just lying in the direction of my goal — I'm actually moving toward it. And from here, it's a matter of discipline, as they say. Dasha, thank you once again — for bringing curious, rich, and genuinely unusual ideas, for inviting wonderful specialists, for your attentiveness, your warmth, your thorough answers and feedback. It's priceless.
